A Meeting That Changed Everything
During their second mission trip to Bangladesh, Kevin and Christy met Pastor Bony and his wife, Milita—two people already deeply committed to serving their community. As they walked the land together and heard Bony’s vision for caring for children and reaching the surrounding villages, something clicked.
What started as a conversation quickly became a shared calling.
That meeting laid the foundation for everything that followed—uniting two families across the world with one mission:
To create a safe, loving place for children in need and bring hope to an entire community.
About Us
Kevin O’Hare, together with his wife Christy, leads Light for Life, a non-profit Christian organization committed to spreading the gospel of Christ internationally through mission work, discipleship, and hands-on ministry. His calling was ignited in the autumn of 2005 during his first mission trip to India, when he unmistakably felt God stirring in his heart to share the good news abroad. The experience was so powerful that he began planning his return before he even unpacked. The following Spring he went back for ten days and knew beyond doubt that this would be his lifelong vocation. Since that pivotal year, Kevin has led or joined at least one international mission trip every year, a rhythm he joyfully expects to continue.
Christy is wholeheartedly committed to Christ. She was baptized and experienced her first mission trip in 2005. Soon after, she knew the calling on her life to serve the Lord in world missions.
Kevin and Christy have trained and led mission teams all over the world for the past 17 years. The mission focus has always been to share the gospel of Jesus Christ, encourage local believers, and assist in church planting. Through Light for Life, they cherish every opportunity to share God’s love with people across cultures and to walk alongside believers as they explore and deepen their relationship with Jesus.
Kevin and Christy are actively involved in their local church, training and preparing mission teams, leading hospitality events, hosting Bible study groups and supporting the Bangladesh mission field and local indigenous church planters.

About US
Rev. Bony Baroi and his wife, Milita Baroi, are passionate ministry leaders serving across Bangladesh with a shared vision to expand God’s Kingdom through holistic and multiplying ministries. With hearts deeply committed to children, youth, and unreached communities, they devote their lives to sharing the Gospel and nurturing faithful disciples. They are serving as Light for Life Country Leaders for Bangladesh.
By the grace of God, Rev. Bony is currently shepherding a growing network of more than 100 Church Planting (CP) workers, along with 45 additional ministers, serving across 17 districts throughout Bangladesh. Their ministry focuses on equipping leaders, planting churches, and fostering sustainable disciple-making movements that bring lasting transformation to communities.
In addition to their leadership work, Bony and Milita are actively engaged in compassion ministry—supporting rescued girls and boys who are at risk, and serving poor and vulnerable families through practical care and assistance. Their approach reflects a deep commitment to both spiritual and physical needs.
Together, they play vital roles in national and international leadership platforms, partnering with various movements to catalyze multiplication and spiritual growth. Their commitment to unity, leadership development, and mission expansion continues to inspire and influence many across regions.
